Elaine Torres was born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. When she became 3 she started her first ballet class, then at the age of 5 she moved to Arlington, Virginia where she spent most of her youth.

Since the day she was born, Elaine loved to perform on stage, and at home. Her brothers would always remind her that she was a good actress, especially while being at home. She began taking ballet classes from then on. She always wanted to do acting, but didn’t know where to start. People would always tease her about her high pitched voice, but she thought one day she could do something with that voice, and it would take her somewhere in the entertainment industry. So, she didn’t listen to the remarks, she just took it as a compliment. She also took piano and flute lessons in school and went on to train in the Washington Ballet

Years later, her father was promoted as a federal judge, so she finished off her high school years in an all girls private school in New Orleans. During that time, Elaine performed in many ballets with the New Orleans Youth Ballet.

The time came to decide where to study at the university level. She began her studies at Florida International University in the year 1997, and graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Dance and an Associate Degree in Aviation. During that time, Elaine was also represented by a couple of talent agents. Her first independent film was "A Summer Song" in which she played a 14 year old, "Buffy". Then, she filmed a commercial for match.com which was rated as a comedy. She also played in a few low budget films including "Its Tough Being Me" and "Who Stole My Ukulele". Later on, she got voice dubbing work for Cartoon Network's "Gordon the Garden Gnome" and "Peppa Pig". Elaine is also currently working as a Kindergarten Teacher, and will soon be an Air Traffic Controller. Her Air Traffic Control career will bring her to Los Angeles where she can further her dreams and aspirations in her acting career.
